GTA V: 5 Things We Learned From "Official" Trailer

1. The Cinematics Are Superb

Cinematics Long-term fans of Grand Theft Auto know that the vast majority of missions are all about the cinematics. The intro to the game can occasionally be like a Hollywood film as Rockstar set up the story before dropping the player slap-bang into the middle of their scripted world. The predecessor of GTA V, GTA IV, perhaps explored cinematics more than any other game in the series to date, with their "executions" feature that played out a small cut-scene of Niko Bellic throwing someone to their death off the top of a sky-scraper or shooting them in the head Godfather style. And it looks like GTA V is going to feature similarly cool-cinematics, too, as here we see a bank vault bursting open after being blown up by some sort of sticky bomb, allowing our heroes to raid the deposits of their lovely cash. Other interesting cut-scenes we've seen from GTA V so far include Michael lounging by his pool and chasing his daughter's boyfriend out of the house, causing him to jump out of a window to escape the retired psychopath. And we're looking forward to seeing what other cinematics GTA V will hold, though we've been told to expect a torture scene at some point. Nice. What did you learn from the "official trailer"?
