GTA V: 5 Unfinished Features We Want As DLC

3. More Interaction With The Prison

While businesses and houses are merely there for the aesthetic and realism of the game, so too is the prion found out in the desert. Occasionally, while driving outside the prison walls, a random event will trigger with an escaped inmate asking the player for a ride, before promptly jacking their car, but other than this, there's very little interaction with the foreboding walls and lookout towers and the unlucky group who reside within. Rockstar really could have made something more of this. I was expecting a mission whereby the player has to break someone out of jail, and though this was hinted at in the storymode with Trevor's friend Brad, it sadly never came to fruition. Another option for Rockstar would have been to incarcerate the player in the jail should they be arrested, with the option to escape or serve out the sentence by sleeping on a bed and then exiting with the penalty of weapon confiscation, in a similar style to Bethesda's Skyrim. DLC allowing us to either break a comrade out of prison or find ourselves locked up in one would be much welcome in Grand Theft Auto V. Anything less makes the jail a pointless entity.
