5. Harpoon

GTA V was the first game in the series was paid special attention to the underwater world. Previous iterations of the long-running franchise have allowed you to swim and in some instances dive underwater, but €˜V€™ was the first to make exploring the ocean such an immersive experience. With the addition of the submersible (submarine), players were able to plunge themselves into the deep dark depths and discover sunken shipwrecks and caves. Scuba gear was also added to the protagonist€™s wardrobe, giving gamers another way to explore underwater. But not without danger. Sharks too were added to the game, and proved a tricky foe to deal with as each character could only defend themselves with a knife, which was clumsy and difficult to wield. That€™s why the addition of an underwater or maritime-based weapon would go down well, such as a harpoon. The harpoon would be a devastating weapon, used on sharks and pedestrians alike. The possibility of impaling an enemy with a deadly, pronged spear gun is a tantalising prospect, in a macabre sort of way. Right now, the only thing the underwater experience is lacking is a decent weapon to wield underwater, and the harpoon would solve this issue.
