4. Working Out

We're moving on to the second of the game's three central characters now, Franklin. Now, Vespucci Beach is one of my personal favourite places in San Andreas. The bustling promenades, ferris wheel, golden sand and crystal ocean sea make for a serene environment. It's a good place to unwind after returning from a murderous rampage wearing blood-stained garbs. Vespucci Beach is home to the outdoor gym, which we were all hoping would be accessible to the player after spotting it in the early trailers for the game. Sadly, it's un-interactive, and unlike 2004's San Andreas, the player can't lift weights and get themselves toned. However, in one transitional scene, we see Franklin hitting the gym, so at least Rockstar managed to get some use out of it. Watch more of Franklin's transitional scenes above.
