GTA V: 7 Signs It Will Be Rockstar's Masterpiece (So Far)

4.Hunting

gta-5-hunting_zps68ecb315 Red Dead Redemption is without a doubt a fantastic game but what elevated its atmosphere most were vast open and breathtaking western landscapes providing players with the sidequest of hunting. The dynamic environments randomly generating animals to maul you out of nowhere while riding your horse as you fight back were moments of unrivalled fun and intensity. GTA V is plucking this extremely engaging and dynamic asset and injecting it straight into its flagship franchise. Rockstar is seemingly going big in this department too populating its vast rural areas with a varied wildlife ecosystem ranging from bobcats to deer to everything in the fully populated ocean featuring sharks. Lobbing grenades at sharks during Ubisoft's Far Cry 3 was amusing and a perfect fit and addition to the idiosyncratic nature of GTA. Trailers also show off some deadly no nonsense looking police guard dogs that I am sure we will have to tragically put down. It is unclear what the rewards will be for partaking in hunting but I am sure Rockstar has ideas implemented to make getting bloody deer caught in your tires worthwhile.
