3. Picking Your Crew Members Is Important
We've already touched upon the bank robberies and heist missions found in GTA V, but we felt that there was particular need to emphasise the importance of picking the right "crew members". Crew members are the professionals you can hire to accompany you on a variety of daring jobs, for a cut of the fee, of course. The player can hire hackers, drivers and gunmen for that extra bit of assistance, while each crew member comes with their own unique set of attributes. Hackers, for example, can enable the fire alarm of a building to cause a handy distraction. Drivers are there to get you gone from the crime scene - fast - while the gunmen do what is implied. Picking these crew members is important because of how much you're prepared to spend on hiring them. Employing someone on the cheap to join you in a mission is going to lead to bad shooting, dodgy driving and error-riddled hacking. Paying top buck however gives you a more professional partner, who can in turn really help you out of a few hairy moments, an important factor considering how much police attention you sometimes warrant.
