GTA V Online: 8 Fan Demands That Must Happen In 2018

8. The Casino Update

Gta Casino
Rockstar

Ever since both GTA V and Online launched, players have been wondering whether or not the in-game casino - perpetually embroiled with an "opening soon" sign - would ever be in business. Only becoming more and more sought after the longer the years have worn on, the grand opening of the building has become something of a myth - a myth that fans are hoping to see become a reality in 2018.

There's a simple reason why Rockstar haven't opened the casino yet though: It would be unprofitable. Probably for the same reason that playing the stock market never made its way over to the multiplayer, finding a way to make in-game money without doing missions or buying shark cards is something the devs probably don't want to encourage.

Likewise, if you introduce microtransactions into the mix, Rockstar could be in trouble when it comes to facilitating literal gambling with real money, something they can't risk being caught doing.

Still, there's no reason why the casino can't be used for missions, or better yet, a new heist. Storming a high-rolling business like this makes perfect sense, and hopefully players will get a chance to do it later in the year.
