GTA V Online: Biker DLC - 10 Things You Need To Know

1. This Could Be GTA Online's Last Update

Yeah, just let that sink in for a minute.

Now it may not be the case come next year, but it's obvious to everyone that GTA V is nearing the end of its lifecycle. Sure, it has a loyal fanbase that will no doubt populate the game's servers long after Rockstar stop supporting it with post release content, but that's the thing, they can't support it forever.

Online makes money - a lot of money - and it's very clearly not something Take-Two would wish to retire prematurely. Bikers, motorcycle clubs and crew against crew interaction have all by far been the most requested features of GTA Online since it first dropped, and it's all finally being realised. But this poses a challenge, in that no one knows where on earth the game could possibly go next.

Rockstar have quite simply exhausted everything this world has to offer. And apart from a single player DLC, there really isn't much that could possibly justify artificially extending Online's lifecycle. I mean, I think we're all just about ready for another Red Dead now, or even something completely new, because at the moment GTA just seems to bore. It simply can't invoke the same sense of excitement it could when Heists rolled around for the first time, and while yes, its impact on the industry is undeniable, I'm still completely perplexed by its continued existence.

It's been a heck of a ride, but maybe, just maybe, it's time for this title to ride off into the sunset, before it disappears in a haze of buckshot and gasoline.
