Rockstar Games have today released a new banner detailing the release date of the offical GTA V Online Gameplay Video, which is set to go live this Thursday, August 15. The below image was shared accompanied with the text: "Look for the world premiere of the official GTA Online Gameplay Video as well as coverage of first press previews here at the Newswire and at rockstargames.com/GTAOnline this Thursday, August 15th."
Fans were told to expect activity on the GTA Online front toward the end of July when Rockstar revealed
12 new screenshots of the upcoming sandbox title, and it looks like they've kept their word. Very little is know about GTA Online at this stage despite the fact we have known for quite some time that GTA V would feature some form of online component. Brief footage of the online mode was shown at the end of Rockstar's
gameplay trailer and to date that remains the first glance of it we have had. We look forward therefore to seeing what the developers have in store for us this Thursday. Stay tuned for the latest updates later on this week. GTA V is set for release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles on September 17.
