GTA V Spoilers: 5 Insane Moments That Define The Closing Hours

4. Meltdown

049c To say Michael goes through a rough patch is a slight understatement. He gets kidnapped by one of Trevor's shady associates, being mistaken as Trevor's boyfriend, and then gets hung upside in a slaughterhouse. Luckily, he is saved by Franklin, and while Trevor is off the map, Michael gets a bit of resolution in his story; he patches things up with his family, gets back to therapy, and even earns a producer credit on a movie. This little set of missions reminds us that Michael is an incredibly complex character. Sure, he's capable of cold blooded murder like all the other GTA anti-heroes, but he also has to make sure his family is safe. The entirety of GTA V is one wild ride for Michael, considering he's an old guy in a young man's game. As he says to Franklin, "one day your legs give way and you just can't run anymore", which explains why every time Michael runs, it sounds like he's going to have a heart attack.
