GTA VI: 10 Perfect Ways To Revisit Vice City
9. Keep That Retro Flavour Even In A Modern Setting
Should rockstar decide to set GTA VI in present day, then they should maintain the classic, retro flavour of Vice City. This is a place splashed with colour, like it hasn't quite recovered from the drug-drenched 1980's, and that should be reflected by faded hues that show a tired city in need of some fresh paint.
Those who played through the original Vice City will want to see famous landmarks like the garish Malibu Club and the Pole Position strip bar pop up. Or, maybe those establishments have been replaced, but still show the wear and tear of cheap refurbishment jobs. We want a Vice that pays homage to the past.
Of course, the developers may fancy setting the game in the 80's or 90's, which means things won't have changed much. Seeing a city striving for modernisation is one way to explain the expansion in scale players will expect from a modern title though.
