GTA VI: 10 Things It Must Learn From V

8. Way More Memorable Missions

It's telling when you try to think back on GTA V's lengthy campaign and the missions therein, that the only ones that stick out are the handful of heist missions - which themselves were incredibly underwhelming considering how much Rockstar hyped them up as the reason to invest in the newest iteration in the series. Think about it for a second; are you playing GTA V because it has something unique to offer in terms of replayability, or just because it's the newest and shiniest instalment so far? From Apple products with the barest of incremental advances to annual Call of Dutys and Assassin's Creed sequels, rampant consumerism has proven people will snap up the newest entry in any given franchise. For as much as the heists hinted at an innovative approach to what Vice City and GTA IV had already done, in the end the rest of the main thread of missions is a mix of more of the same and completely throwaway.
