GTA VI: 13 Things Fans Want (That Probably Won't Happen)
8. Video Editor Mode For Consoles
What Fans Want: One of the best additions to the GTA series has only ever appeared on the PC version of GTA IV, and that's the Video Editor, which allows players to record their own gameplay and edit it into a super-cinematic movie. The array of options are mind-boggling and allow players to create some truly awesome videos, with some ambitious gamers even creating feature-length movies rendered from the GTA world. With the current-gen consoles now supporting gameplay recording and boasting an infrastructure similar to a PC, what better time to bring the mechanic to consoles? Why It Won't Happen: Even strong PCs struggle with some of the rendering requirements of GTA IV, and part of this is because Rockstar aren't particularly great at optimising their games for the platform. It's unlikely that a console could cope with all the options that a PC GTA Video Editor has to offer, so even if it showed up, it'd likely have to be severely gimped to cope with the lesser system specs of even relatively new games consoles.
