Nothing ever really happens at most English seaside towns. People rarely swim in the cold Channel waters, and they towns are populated mostly by OAPs eating bland food in the sun lounges of those depressing seafront hotels. But the vibrant city of Brighton is an exception, with the 'London by sea' label not quite doing it justice. Think of it as the San Francisco of the UK, with a New Age hippie vibe, laid-back attitude, big gay population and half the population high on a veritable assortment of psychedelic drugs. The city also has its rough side, with its fair share of street gangs and retired London gangsters who want to be near the sea for some peace and quiet. In other words, there'd be plenty of missions and criminal activities for players to indulge in. Visually, the bright streets of Brighton are a perfect counterpoint to the murky greyness of London, so would provide a welcome change of scene when London gets a bit much.
