2. Annoying Friend Missions Now here is something all GTA4 players want gone. Friends. And girlfriends. I do not want a stupid fat guy calling me wanting me to go bowling, or some annoying bimbo I dated 2 hours calling me saying she misses me. It could be a great system, if it was optional, but as it stands it just sucks. Not only were the missions tedious and annoying, but the reward for doing them wasn't there. I'll take Far Cry 2 as an example. If you had a buddy, he would come in and help you in combat. GTA4's friends got me a car bomb. Yay. I'm still looking for a practical use for that. If Rockstar does decide to keep them, they need to open the structure up a bit more. I've spoken before about this in a previous article. They need to put more activities in, like a home visit, party, or a trip to the beach. It also has to be OPTIONAL. You should be able to just turn off your phone to incoming calls. GTA4 had this feature, but only for missions and it didn't even work. And now, my most hated part about GTA4.....
