8. Going Prone: Camouflage & Dodging Bullets

Unlike Fortnite, going prone (by holding circle) and making good use of camouflage is one of the biggest keys to victory.

Real-world rules apply, so surround yourself with a bush or collection of shrubbery. Tuck up behind a vehicle or inside a cluster of rocks - anywhere a player wouldn't think to look. Essentially, just start thinking of world interaction like we once did in Metal Gear Solid 3, then try to blend in.

Bonus tip: Because going prone is so fast, make a point of hitting the ground in a close-quarters firefight. More often than not it's the last thing a player will expect, and because you have to aim first-person it means any player's gun takes up the bottom of the screen, allowing you to disappear from view long enough to get the kill.
