Halo 4: 5 Weapons We Can't Wait To Unleash

1. Incineration Cannon

As us Halo players well know, the outcome of a Team Slayer match is never set in stone. Often times, what turns the tide of battle is one team's control over a so-called "power weapon", for example the Rocket Launcher, Sniper Rifle, or Spartan Laser. A player with one of these weapons, with enough skill, can take out an entire team and stop any scoring from being done on their part. However, all of these weapons have had weaknesses. The Rocket Launcher is extremely difficult to use at long ranges. The Sniper Rifle takes a decent amount of practice to be used efficiently and score headshots. The Spartan Laser takes a considerable amount of time to charge. Doesn't sound too fun, right? Enter the Incineration Cannon. This monster of a weapon has been described as a cross between the Rocket Launcher, Shotgun, and Flamethrower. This puppy fires a load of explosive beams that detonate in mid-air and then spread out upon impact, giving it the possibility of taking out multitudes of enemies. If I were in a tight situation score-wise and was looking for a way to get ahead, this is what I'd go for. This weapon isn't about elegance or beauty or skill, it's about carnage and destruction. I can only imagine the carnage that will be wreaked with this Spartan-killing machine in War Games, and I can't wait. There you have it, five tools of destruction that should get you excited to start killing Spartans again. There's plenty of weapons I did not list here that are all going to be loads of fun to use, so go check them out for yourself if you haven't yet. Halo 4 launches on November 6th for the Xbox 360. Was there a specific weapon that you wanted to see on the list, but didn't? Discuss it with us in the comments section.
