Halo 5 Announced For Xbox One: What Can We Learn From Teaser Trailer?
Hopeful gamers around the world were recently introduced to the Gaming aspects of the Xbox One and Microsoft promised that there would be many great titles coming to the new console, and in fairness to them, they delivered. At E3, Microsoft announced the biggest title yet with Halo 5 and also revealed the teaser trailer of the much anticipated upcoming sequel. Running at 60fps for the first time in the series history, this reveal alone left gamers frothing at the mouth at E3 and the promise that the console's new cloud experience will enhance the multiplayer was greeted with much interest. The teaser originally was very difficult to decrypt and left no clue at all that it was to promote Halo, as all we see is a cloaked figure walking through a sandstorm. Things then become clearer when a Promethean artefact of sorts emerges and we see the infamous armour plate of Master Chief under the wraps. The teaser makes it appear that Chief has gone rogue and the reason for this is the evident amour damage, meaning he has debunked and been unable to repair the suit, and also the fact that he is hiding under a cloak. Why would somebody wearing a suit need a cloak in a sandstorm? The reason for his espionage seems clear, he wants to get to Cortana and I can only hope that 343 can deliver like they did on Halo 4, because I thought that the campaign was hitting what the somewhat weary Halo community wanted after Bungie parted way with the franchise. There is little more to be said about the teaser, but another possible clue stemming from the teaser may be that The Didact from Halo 4 never did die and he is the one Chief is seeking, as SPOILER ALERT, we see The Didact fall into a slip space at the end and never do see what happened to him. You can watch the Teaser Trailer below and feel free to give me your take on it and see if you can spot anything I didn't. Halo 5 will be released exclusively on the Xbox One in 2014.
