3. Halo 3
Were into the Top 3! Appropriately enough, this place is taken by the third game in the Halo series, which wrapped up Bungies original trilogy. Following on from the hated cliffhanger ending of Halo 2, Halo 3 finally allowed players to finish the fight and end the threat to the galaxy posed by the Flood and the Halo installations. Although some nonsensical Gravemind-related plot managed to find a way in, Halo 3s narrative was a return to form, and featured some of the most epic sequences of the franchise. Having jumped console-generations to land on Xbox 360s, Halo 3 bettered its predecessor in every way; the graphics were better, you didnt have to play as the Arbiter, the multiplayer was more frantic than ever before, and you finally got to blow up Guilty Spark. With so much going for it, it is no surprise that Halo 3 remains one of the most successful Xbox 360 games of all time, and remains the best-selling title from the Halo series.
