Halo Infinite: 10 Story Questions It Must Answer

Ah, Fireteam Osiris, the favorite Halo characters of literally nobody. Well, some people like Buck.

With Halo 5 heavily utilizing basic squad mechanics it was inevitable that Locke would be paired with a team for the player to direct. 'Go here', 'attack this', the options were endless! The all-star line-up accompanying Locke on his middling journey includes Vale, Tanaka, and Buck. The three horsemen of the who cares apocalypse.

The team has been conspicuously absent from Infinite's marketing campaign. This could be because 343 wants to keep their presence in the game close to the chest, or because they simply aren't in it. The former seems the most likely.

The question then becomes a question of location, much like Blue Team. Have they gone missing or did they fall in the battle against the Banished? Perhaps they went down fighting with the Infinity or have confined themselves with that crew in order to hide from Banished forces?

Whatever opinion you hold on Osiris, having them simply vanish without a trace would be ridiculous and would show a blatant disregard for continuity on 343's part.
