4. TWO Scarabs!?

Game: Halo 3 Level: The Covenant As discussed earlier, Chief takes on and defeats a few Scarabs in his time. They still pose an ominous threat though and whenever one rocks up, you know you're in for a big fight. So how about when two suddenly appear? During the level The Covenant in Halo 3, Chief is approaching the chamber holding the Prophet Of Truth when two Scarabs are dropped in for battle. It's a pretty crazy moment - after all, one Scarab is challenging enough. Still, with the help of some Marines and a Hornet (an attack helicopter first introduced in Halo 3), Chief manages to overcome and destroy both Scarabs at the same time - once again proving that nothing is impossible for the Master Chief. The scope of this battle is mightily impressive to this day and it's the perfect example of Halo's exciting massive scale warfare. Despite the large arena, fighting two Scarabs at once feels very up-close and personal; you'll constantly be keeping tabs on both tanks at once. Halo 3 is befittingly full of great moments and the Battle of the Two Scarabs is a real highlight, not just for the game but for the entire series.
