Fans of the Halo franchise are in for a treat. Filming on the much anticipated TV Series has just resumed in Budapest and Pablo Schreiber (American Gods) - who's going to play Master Chief in live action - shared on his Instagram a first glimpse at the iconic helmet with the caption "We're back, let's finish this fight".

The bottom half looks pretty neat and identical to the one seen in the games. Production on the show began in 2019 and despite the ongoing global situation is still set to debut some time in 2021 on Showtime.

In addition to Schreiber, the cast will see Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Halset and Cortana, Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-066, Shabana Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky, Bentley Kalu as Spartan Vannak-134, Natasha Culzac as Spartan Riz-028, and Kate Kennedy as Spartan Kai-125.

The TV Series wont't be a direct adaptation of the story seen in the games, but will serve as a direct expansion of that universe.

With Halo Infinite seemingly releasing in 2021 too, next year could very well be dedicated to the return of Master Chief in all his glory.
