11. Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!/Eevee!
Touted as a "remake of Pokémon Yellow", there's actually WAY more Pokémon GO in Let's Go than you might think.
Random wild encounters now happen when you interact with roaming enemy pokémon, rather than the infinitely annoying "invisible" foes that would stop you getting to the next checkpoint. Also tossed aside is random wild battles, as the only time you pick combat commands is against other trainers and boss characters.
Essentially, whenever you're not going up against another human, you're hoovering up pokémon. Catching is done with the "shrinking ring" animation, and levelling is handled through candies awarded for nabbing additional creatures. It takes hefty amounts of candy to level up, and combat is minimised - just like in the app.
This is more Pokémon GO than a remake of Yellow, though all the aforementioned changes does prioritise catching and the speed of play overall.
