Hidden Agenda: 7 Things You Need To Know About Supermassive Games' New IP

1. It's Coming Soon! (Allegedly)

Hidden Agenda has been announced to release before the end of 2017, with no specific release date as of yet. Although it could cause for celebration, this throws up two very different red flags:

1. Games given a release year instead of a release date often don't make that time frame, and are instead pushed back to the following year. With this being the first announcement for Hidden Agenda, we don't really know just how complete the game is at the moment.

2. Games that end up being released the same year that they are announced are often more prone to be glitchy and full of bugs (see: Fallout 4).

Hopefully Supermassive Games will release a completed, polished game instead of rushing it out the door prematurely in order to coincide with the release of the PlayLink app. As awesome as it would be to actually get a game so soon after the end of E3 (bucking Sony's unfortunate trend of including many games that won't be released for years), there's certainly some valid reasons to be cautious.

However, assuming that it all goes well, it looks as though fans of Supermassive Games won't have to wait too much longer in order to get their hands on the developers' newest IP.
