Hitman 1 & 2: 10 Best Levels So Far
5. The Showstopper (Paris)
The mission that started it all, Paris hit the mark and showed us how good Hitman could be. A shady auction on the top floor and a fashion show on the first, 47 will be scaling walls and sneaking through basements to complete his contract.
Few levels after Paris offered as much variety in everything. Variety in things to do, see, and how to complete the mission.
47 can take part in the fashion show and uncover one of the target's plot to assassinate someone, cause a firework display to go off prematurely, or create some technical difficulties with the catwalk and the auction. The Sanguine fashion show is an excellent setting for a Hitman level with tons of side quests and events going on all over the mansion.
Paris has a wide variety of methods for murder. From crushing Viktor Novikov with the stage lights and ruining the entire show, to poisoning Dalia Margolis with her own poison while dressed as a model.
Both targets have personality, something that gets sidelined in many future levels. Viktor is a charming front for IAGO, the secret organisation hosting the auction, while Dalia is the conniving mastermind behind it all. Paris can be explored for hours and has some of the most enjoyable challenges in both games.
