Hitman 3: 10 Locations That Would Make Great Levels
6. Park
The modern Hitman games have shown us that wider open spaces can work if done well. While in the past the idea of a park for a level may have seemed dull and hard to achieve (Codename 47 tried this), it is now well within the realms of possibility to do and do well.
Levels in Hitman 2 such as Another Life and New Haven show us that these peaceful locations can hide a lot of potential under the surface. Whereas many people may think that a Park is only for joggers and dog walkers, these locations can be fleshed out in interesting ways.
There are so many little locations that would make this location great. Sports areas such as tennis courts, and even in some of the bigger one’s golf courses, would allow for many different opportunities to present themselves. On top of this, you have Cafes, stalls, and leisure facilities all based within one area, perfect for a Hitman level.
Perhaps a target goes for a jog each morning, always gets coffee at the same location, or is even visiting the location for a political photo-op. All these ideas and more could be used in this one location, Allowing the player a great deal of flexibility in the mission.
