Horizon Forbidden West: 10 Confirmed Details You NEED To Know
8. New Tribes
Just like in the first game, we can expect to see tribes, some good, some not so good. We should expect the Carja and the Nora to make a return in Horizon Forbidden West, as well as the Shadow Carja.
Although the main enemy in Horizon Zero Dawn was the machines, the Shadow Carja added a little variety to the combat and helped mix up the narrative. Not only did Aloy have to contend with the hulking, devastating machines, she also had to deal with a splinter faction of the Carja that were hostile towards her.
Throughout the first game, there are nuggets of Forbidden West lore and teasers as to what lies there. The visitors that returned spoke of strange tribes beyond the border that drink the blood of the machines. This could just be a rumour or urban legend in the game world.
After our interaction with Brin, the Banuk Shaman from the last game who was cast out of his tribe for drinking machine blood that gave him visions, we may yet get to see the odd tribe that is mentioned. After all, Brin ventures beyond the border out into the Forbidden West to find them, so we may even see Brin return also.
