Horizon Zero Dawn: 10 Things A Prequel/Sequel Must Address
2. Awkward Climbing And Jumping
This one needs just minor tweaking, but it's necessary to mention it, because at times the game tends to look ridiculous. When climbing a wall, Aloy is able to not only climb rocks, but get on top of them and reach other rocks, placed really far away, yet not enough to prevent her from jumping towards them.
Granted, this a feature present in many other games, yet it can get bothersome when your character is able to push herself so far up using just one palm - the other hand, mind you, is reaching out for the closest rock available - that's not only unrealistic, but kinda dumb.
This can also get annoying when going encountering tightropes, which are so stiff and strong, that when Aloy jumps on them, they don't even move. She also never loses balance once reaching them. It's a minor problem, but would really make the experience much smoother.
