Horizon: Zero Dawn's E3 2016 Trailer Highlights The PS4's Most Exciting Exclusive
Problem is... you won't get it until 2017.
Here's a mixed bag, if ever there was one. Guerilla Games' all-new IP, Horizon: Zero Dawn the first title they've put together since leaving Killzone behind - just received a new trailer that shows it's coming together nicely.
The catch is... it's also been delayed until February 2017 - the 28th, to be exact.
Back to the good stuff though, and it looks to be shaping up nicely. Awesome facial tech makes up for some occasionally cringy line deliveries, but it's all in service of pitting your character Aloy as one of the only surviving humans amongst an A.I.-dominated post-apocalypse.
The story goes that some mysterious past event wiped out humanity and allowed various programs to gain sentience and populate. You'll need to scavenge for crafting components and survive Far Cry-style, whilst slowly unravelling how Aloy and her past factors into the mythos.
Also, it must be said, after over a decade developing Killzone titles and forever playing second fiddle to the likes of Call of Duty and Halo, it's refreshing to see Guerilla try their hand at something completely different. Here's to E3 next week, and even more new gameplay!
