How Rockstar Should Make Grand Theft Auto VI
5. More Destructible Environments
There are few things more liberating than levelling an entire city block with a bazooka - just ask anyone who bought Just Cause 3.
While ruination on such an epic scale would pose problems in the Grand Theft Auto universe, more destructible environments would heighten the sense of immersion.
Nothing reminds you you're playing a game like ploughing into a hedge at 90 miles per hour, only for your vehicle to rebound off the foliage like a toy car against a brick wall.
With the power of current-gen hardware on its side, there's no reason why scenery shouldn't respond to impact in a more realistic way in GTA VI. You don't need a degree in physics to know that speeding vehicles generally trump shrubbery.
And while apocalyptic-scale destruction is probably a no-go, the ability to dabble in some light demolition would make the upcoming sequel the most therapeutic GTA yet.
