How Well Do You Remember Saints Row?
Welcome back to Stilwater.
When Saints Row first hit the shelves in 2006, it was marked down as a Grand Theft Auto clone. Oh, how wrong those initial comments were.
While certain similarities do exist between the two franchises, GTA has never been anywhere near as insane and over-the-top as Saints Row would eventually become. In fact, Volition built an entire marketing campaign around their second instalment of madness in the form of 'Street Lessons with Uncle Gary [Busey],' accompanied by a trailer pointing out how much more fun it is to commit insurance fraud and join underground fight gangs than it is to go bowling with your cousin, Roman.
But crazy side-activities were just the tip of the iceberg in Saints Row. The four games had so many stores, weapons, and characters that surely it's impossible to remember everything that made the franchise stand out against Grand Theft Auto and other sandbox gangster games.
Could you identify the Mr. Sunshine if he walked passed you on the street? What sort of weapon is the Violator? Do you even know what colours the Third Street Saints wear?
Let's put your knowledge to the test.
