14. Call Of Duty Vanguard

Another title mired in the Activision-Blizzard sludge, even outside that, for the first time since the roundly despised (but actually genuinely recommendable) Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty just isn't on the best footing this year.

Not for anything other than we've seen every beat of Vanguard's presentation countless times before, here it's very much "another World War 2 shooter". This time the campaign takes place across an alternate history against the "successor" to Hitler, featuring a nice array of characters and Modern Warfare 2019's phenomenal game engine... but it's done little to muster energy even from the most diehard of COD fans.
