Identifying A Gaming Fanboy

The Nintendo Fanboy

74d3057db65f8a8b3284e90340072a45 What I find interesting is how Nintendo Fanboys keep quiet about the whole back and forth gamers have with each other. I feel they€™re the ones who are truly enjoying the games because they don€™t feel the need to justify what they buy. They know everyone thinks if you play the Wii you€™re either a Mom or misguided, so they buy whatever they want and appreciate it. Sure the graphics look like PS2 and the motion control is pants, but they know when you€™re drunk at a party; they€™re going to seem like Kings whipping out the Wii. They don€™t care about scores or you messing up their Kill-Death ratio, all they care about is how much of an arse you can make of yourself before you realise and stop. The main thing that drags them down are the up and coming gamers who thought that the Wii was a hard-core platform and try to square up to the big boys. These are so much Fanboys, but just acts of silly, misinformed children. As Nintendo has released the Wii U, and Japan has stopped making the PS2; this marks the beginning of the end for this console generation. My hope is gamers will grow up with the improved software and we can kiss this fandom goodbye. And finally, to those Fanboys who read this; massive multinational corporations don€™t need your defending. To them, as soon as you stop buying whether you still own their games or not, you€™re invisible to them.

Thomas James Hunt is a British Video Game Critic who is a rather unpleasant character in the journalism world. So brace yourself for some nasty behaviour in the form of articles.
