Injustice 2: 10 Awesome DC Characters That Must Be Included

2. Robin

Given how the first game featured Nightwing and then had Batgirl as an added extra available via DLC or as part of the Ultimate Edition, many were wondering if we€™d get to see some playable form of the Boy Wonder, Robin, at some point. Whilst many casual gamers or non-comic book fans often get the image of Burt Ward or Chris O€™Donnell when hearing the name Robin, long-time fans know that Robin is a fantastic, vital character in the Batman mythos and the greater DC Universe.

Depending on which Robin was to appear, the abilities of the character can vary slightly. As to which Robin would be focussed on, a lot of that depends on what the storyline of Injustice 2 is and whether it follows directly on from the finale of the first game. In an ideal world, the Robin featured in Injustice 2 would be Damian Wayne or possibly Tim Drake.

The small stature, fast movements, extensive agility, and gadgets available to deploy on foes make Robin an appealing addition to the franchise. As mentioned, though, it depends a lot on how the story arc of the sequel plays out as to which Robin would be best suited to the game, especially given the events surrounding Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne in Injustice.

Regardless, Robin is a vital piece of the DC world and could be just as integral a part of Injustice 2 if allowed the opportunity.
