Injustice 2: 10 Characters That Should've Been Included
9. Katana
A character that has only recently been pushed into the limelight, Katana - one of the few characters to have emerged relatively unscathed from 2016's Suicide Squad - almost certainly should be in Injustice 2, and at the expense of Damian Wayne no less.
A member of both The Outsiders and the Birds of Prey, Tatsu Yamashiro is one of the DCU's most effective martial artists, and by far a better swordsman than Damian who, having scraped an appearance in the first game as an alternate skin, somehow justified getting a fully fledged appearance as a blade-wielding Robin in the sequel.
I'm not a massive fan of Injustice's take on Damian (which I guess is the intention), and the fact he's gotten the nod over some of the universe's premier martial artists only makes his inclusion all the more annoying. Given the title's stark gender imbalance as well, it would be great to see more DC women involved in the roster, and her role as a member of the Injustice Suicide Squad more than provides the canonical impetus to justify an inclusion. Make it happen NetherRealm!
