Is Grand Theft Auto V Coming in October?
According to a recent post on Joystiq, a Rockstar North employee has unwittingly sparked a new round of release date rumors for Grand Theft Auto V.
Joystiq. With all development for the Grand Theft Auto franchise taking place at the Rockstar North studio, it seems that this could be a plausible lead to a possible release window. The information comes from Rockstar character animator, Alex O'Dwyer, who believes that Grand Theft Auto V is going to be ready for an October release. As I attempted to link the page to his CV, it has apparently already been removed, so it might be reasonable to assume some information we just weren't supposed to know. Of course, there's always the fact that we tend to take rumors and run with them. Hopefully, we'll get some clear information soon. We could just be jumping the gun, but who really doesn't want too when it comes to GTA? If there is a holiday release window for the newest Grand Theft Auto installment, it will mark an impressive year for gaming. This would be the first year that Rockstar releases two gigantic titles in the same year. With Max Payne 3 right around the corner, we may have another amazing year in store ahead of us.
