So you've got your head around the combo system, you can counter, block and parry - what's next?

Well, outside of devoting a few afternoons to sparring with Sir Bernard to get your general stats up to unlock better finishers, you'll want to think about blunt and sharp weapons.

Blunt is what you need for any foes wearing plate or metal armour. Stabbing weapons still do damage, but at a drastically reduced amount. You can finish off an armoured foe in seconds with a mace, for example, and if you've been wondering why duels go on for so long, chances are you were using the "wrong" weapon.

The opposite goes for cloth or material-based clothing. If an enemy has leather or cloth-based gear on, bust out the blades. You'll slice right through them with axes, polearms and swords - it's just a case of picking the right weapon for the job.
