Kingdom Hearts 3: 10 Major Hints For The Future Of The Franchise

After over five years of waiting since its announcement, Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally upon us, and it is fantastic.

One of the most exciting aspects of the game comes from finally providing a chance to close the story that had been building up since the first game released back in 2002.

This is in addition to the fact that Kingdom Hearts is known for having loads of different story threads at once, and can often leave people very confused.

With so many different plot threads to wrap up, it was almost inevitable that a few of them wouldn't end up being made clear in Kingdom Hearts 3. This is certainly the case, but Kingdom Hearts 3 even managed to introduce even more unresolved plotlines, only giving a few hints at what could come next.

If these things are anything to go by, the future of the series is looking bright and far from over.

Keep in mind that a lot of the upcoming speculation is based on the ending, epilogue and secret ending for Kingdom Hearts 3.

If there's one thing that is practically guaranteed with any big Kingdom Hearts release, it's a Final MIx version of the game.

For those unfamiliar, almost every big Kingdom Hearts game has had a re-release after about a year that contains tons of new content, fixes and changes that are generally done from feedback from the original release. Think of it as a game of the year edition.

Nomura has also previously stated that he'd rather release one big DLC than multiple little ones, which sounds like a pretty obvious way of saying that Final Mix is planned for Kingdom Hearts 3.

The release of a Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts 3 is sure to alleviate some of the bigger problems that people had with the game, with things like Critical Mode and tons of extra content being added in previous Final Mix games.

If this is the case, it means that we're far from done with Kingdom Hearts 3 yet.
