Though WALL-E's trash-riddled, abandoned Earth could provide an amazing visual backdrop for Sora's adventures and Auto's efforts aboard the Axiom would offer a cool conflict, WALL-E nor EVE is necessarily combat-ready.
Instead, the endearing Waste Allocation Load Lifter could easily have a minor role elsewhere in the game, perhaps at home in Radiant Garden assisting Cid or any of the other characters who reside there. Should things go south there - as they likely will - the little robot could provide assistance undetected and help to save the day, giving him the opportunity to rightfully shine.
