Though Pixar's follow-up to Toy Story was a big hit back in 1998, A Bug's Life hasn't quite managed the same level of widespread appeal that its predecessor - and many of Pixar's other hits - have continued to have even with the passage of time. That said, the film is still classic Pixar, and one armed with a straight-forward story and memorable characters who could translate quite well to Kingdom Hearts in order to give rise to an engaging new world.
Sora and the gang could arrive on Ant Island - complete with redesigns as bugs, of course - just in time to help Flik recruit the insects from P.T. Flea's circus, battle critter-based Heartless, and ultimately take on the villainous, dangerous Hopper, all in over-sized, varied environments ripe with loads of visual potential.
