8. Co-Op Is Awesome

"Perhaps the most pleasant surprise in Knack 2 is just how much fun co-op is...Having two Knacks on-screen ups the chaos in combat significantly. There are some clever gameplay flourishes that are only available in co-op too, such as the ability to kick the other player into enemies, set off explosions by body slamming your co-op partner and literally punching relics off them like a machine gun." - IGN
"There's a neat co-op mode in which two players combine to deliver special moves, like creating explosions or launching one another at the enemy. I played this mode with one of my kids and we had a blast." - Polygon

The most alluring addition to Knack 2 for many is the inclusion of a co-op multiplayer mode, allowing parents and kids to play through the entire game together.

It's a great idea for a family-friendly adventure such as this, and by most accounts it's a welcome addition to the game that's actually smart and inventive on occasion.

Though it's disappointing that Knack 2 doesn't support online co-op for some mind-boggling reason in 2017, it's nevertheless great to see another title flying the banner for couch co-op in an era where it's fast disappearing.
