5. Interactive Economy
NintendoAnother part of Hyrule that weve depended on for years are the marketplaces and shops for us to replenish our potions, upgrade our weaponry, and occasionally seek guidance. Zelda Wii U could very well expand upon this necessary aspect of the world, following in the footsteps of Skyward Sword and A Link Between Worlds. Simply put, by the end of most Zelda games, we have our Big Wallets full to the brim and nothing worthwhile to spend our rupees on. Sure, it feels great to be sitting on a mountain of cash at all times, but theres no point when youre wanting for nothing. With the equipment upgrading and rental systems of the aforementioned titles, this issue was alleviated, but it could be further improved. By adding features such as implementing the earlier point of having upgradeable and varied weaponry and equipment in the 2015 release, we'll get more bang for our rupee. Additionally, it may be a stretch for a game like this one, but implementing a sort of believable economy in Hyrule would be awesome, especially one that is affected by the presumably disastrous events of the main narrative. And if Link was allowed to get involved in the goings-on, by working, buying, and selling as a side quest or just for kicks it would be another gratifying way to expand the possibilities for players.
