4. Custom Playlists (As A Bonus)
One of the single best aspects of the original Life Is Strange was the game's soundtrack of licensed music. Just about every single song featured in the game was not only incredibly enjoyable, but also perfectly captured the mood of the scenes they played over. This is why many fans were disappointed that said soundtrack was never given a standalone release.
While it's still far too early to tell if Before the Storm will follow in that regard, it seems that the developers definitely took notice as to how well the first game's soundtrack was received, because they've built an entire add-on around the songs that will be featured in this prequel.
Those who buy the deluxe edition of Before the Storm will receive something called Mixtape Mode, which will allow them to create their own custom playlists of the songs from the game. It has been made public that you can then play your custom playlist over cinematic scenes from the game.
Whether or not the add-on has any other features, however, has not yet been revealed.
