Luka Doncic Confirmed As NBA 2K22 Cover Star
Different players will don the special edition covers, including the first WNBA cover star.
NBA 2K22 will feature none other than Luka Doncic on its main cover, with the game being released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC users.
Also being released this year, however, is a special 75th NBA anniversary edition. That will feature Kevin Durant, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on its cover. Meanwhile, Candace Parker becomes the first WNBA player to be featured on a cover, with the Los Angeles Sparks legend being an exclusive for GameStop.

Joining the Dallas Mavericks in the 2018 NBA Draft, Luka became an instant hit for the team. He was deemed the Rookie of the Year for the 2018-2019 NBA season, while becoming the youngest twenty-point scorer in franchise history in one of his debut outings for the Mavericks.
Players who pre-order the standard version of the game will receive a handful of incentives, including five thousand VC, five thousand MyTEAM points, ten MyTEAM promo packs released at one per week, boosts for each MyCareer skill type and Gatorade Boost, a Luka Doncic MyPLAYER jersey, and a MyTEAM free agent card for Luka, with a rating of 95.
NBA 2K22 is planned to hit shelves on Friday, September 10.
