6. Don't Just Run For The Sake Of It

Running games are inconsistent on Madden, with some games allowing the user to waddle through defences as if they were children by selecting any old run from the playbook. Madden 25 can be accused of this, and it took the fun out of passing knowing that you could have racked up the same amount of runs simply by selecting a run. Screen Passes are also a tougher proposition to pull off, so don't be tempted to spam them. There's a time and a place. There's nothing wrong with mixing up your offence, but make sure you're not just running for the sake of running. Madden have tuned up the passing game for a reason, use it.
