Magic: The Gathering: Every Ikoria Godzilla Card Ranked From Worst To Best

9. Babygodzilla, Ruin Reborn

Godzilla Magic
Wizards of the Coast

The most adorable card to come from the new Godzilla series, Babygodzilla is a fan favorite for showing us just what a Godzilla would look like without his iconic terrifying hundred-meter height and radioactive breath.

There have been many Babygodzillas in the history of Toho's films, although its role is mostly as a plot device to keep Godzilla's lineage going whenever he dies to other Kaiju or the combined might of the Japanese military. While in the movies themselves Babygodzilla actually looks disgustingly horrible, the new card actually makes the tiny Tokyo destroyer completely adorable. However this isn't a card game where looks win out.

While Babygodzilla is one of the easiest cards to summon in the Godzilla card deck, needing only one generic and one red mana cost, he sadly is also pretty darn weak with only a 1attack and 3 defense. Babygodzilla's passive abilities can sadly only give it's master some less expensive creature spells and the ability to draw a card while discarding another card, making it almost as useless as the movie version of this prince of the monsters.
