Magic: The Gathering: Every Ikoria Godzilla Card Ranked From Worst To Best

4. Mothra, Supersonic Queen

Definitely the most beautiful of the Kaiju themselves not only in the films but in these new cards as well. The Queen of the monsters is not necessarily the strongest monster in the new pack, but her special abilities are very useful when playing and when she's engaged in battle. Sadly, her cacoon card is another Japanese exclusive and there is no larva card, but her butterfly form is more than sufficient for fans to enjoy.

While in the films Mothra has gone from having her own franchise to becoming an enemy of Godzilla to a constant ally to a potential mate in 2019's King of the Monsters, and while she has often been relegated to basically a very pretty one up power giving Godzilla that extra powerup when he is down and she dies, her role as Queen is nonetheless undisputed. Mothra's final form card shows her gracefully gliding between towering skyscrapers, showing her deep connection with humanity even in modern cities.

Mothra demands a simple tribute to summon her to the field, needing only two generic cards and two white cards. At an easy cost, her attack and defense are relatively low at only 3 attack power and 4 defense. Her special ability is surprisingly good, allowing players to revive fallen monsters who cant fly back to the filed with a flying counter added to it which makes for some funny imagery when imaging these massive beasts of the earth returning with a pair of gorgeous butterfly wings attached to them somehow.
