Using his cards as long-range weapons, Gambit can do explosive damage. Throwing one at a time for accuracy is ideal but charging them up to five at a time similar to Zenyatta’s Orb of Destruction’s alt fire could do massive damage.

What we also find missing from Marvel Rivals is Genji’s deflect, and that’s one more use for Gambit’s bo staff.

And while not comic accurate, charging his cards and deploying as a mine similar to Widowmaker’s Venom Mine, as it’s missing from Black Widow’s pool of abilities, would give him an extra ability as not to make his gameplay monotonous.
