30. Professor X
Status: Prediction (potentially in the X-Men pack)
Like Beast, Professor X is a decent alternate pick for the X-Men pack and is already in the game as an NPC. Considering bosses Juggernaut and Mystique are being suggested here as the initial four, there’s every chance MUA could turn to Xavier.
However, counting against him is the fact that, like Beast, he’s already had his stories told various times in various mediums. It’s probably time for someone else to have the spotlight.
You could of course argue that Jean Grey has been involved in a great deal of stories too, but they’ve butchered her as often as they’ve gotten it right. Professor X has had a fairly solid career outside of the comics though, so might be due a smaller role here.
