15. Doctor Strange

Though it's tempting to knock some points off Doctor Strange for having the most frustrating boss fight of the year so far prior to unlocking him, the fact remains that his brand of spell-casting can dominate regular enemies and bosses alike.

While his heavy and light attacks are similar to Magneto's, his unique specials, including one powerful move where Strange creates a double of himself to shoot a beam of energy back to back, are some of the most useful in the whole game.

You'll have an even greater appreciation for them as well, as you'll have been killed by them before getting to dish out the same pain out the NPCs.
